East Meets West Orchestral Concert is a rare opportunity for audiences to hear traditional and contemporary music from the east and the west including two immensely acclaimed Chinese classics rarely performed live on Australian stages, Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto and Yellow River Piano Concerto.
The Canberra Symphony Orchestra is under the baton on revered music maestro Guy Noble. Artists comprise of violinist Sun Yi associate concertmaster of SSO, pianist Tony Lee winner of the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition, mezzo soprano Victoria Lambourn, soprano Sharon Zhai and award-winning Guzheng musician Angie Liu.
