[REMOVED] MAMA Sketch Club

Sketch Club is a monthly meet-up at the Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) for drawing enthusiasts of all skill levels to come together and connect creatively within the gallery spaces. Sketch your response to an artwork, study an artist’s technique, illustrate an architectural detail, or just enjoy honing your general drawing skills among creative company. We will offer a brief introduction to the exhibition and share relevant drawing approaches for context and consideration, before commencing a 45-min sketching session within the space. Sketching is good for you! If you are curious about drawing and are yet to try it for yourself, or struggle to make time to draw in your spare time, then this is the perfect introduction and encouragement! BYO your own sketchbook/paper and pencils/pens – please avoid any messy materials such as charcoal or oil and chalk pastel. Open daily, the museum is the heart of Dean street making it the perfect place to escape the weather, be inspired, meet an artist, get creative, take a break, shop Australian designers, or enjoy a coffee, wine or meal on the gardened terrace. Entry is free.
