About

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra and conductor Umberto Clerici make a welcome return to Albury with two of the greatest works in the classical repertoire: Bruch’s Violin Concerto No.1 and Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. Bruch’s gorgeous Violin Concerto is an audience favourite, full of fire, passion, and some of the most beautiful melodies ever written. Sydney Symphony Concertmaster Andrew Haveron brings a radiant tone and blistering intensity to the virtuosic solo part to create a truly special performance. Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony was his final symphony, and he saved the best for last! From the jubilant opening notes to the exhilarating finale, it’s Mozart at his finest and one of the greatest symphonies ever written. Directing the orchestra is conductor Umberto Clerici, the Orchestra’s Principal cellist. With his innate musicianship and “irresistible charm” he leads the orchestra to new heights in a concert you don’t want to miss. Due to current advice on public gatherings, please contact the host of this event to confirm it is proceeding as planned.
