[REMOVED] Winter Solstice

Shine a light on the darkest night with Survivors of Suicide and Friends. The Winter Solstice was created to encourage candid and destigmatising conversations around suicide and around the real, lived experiences of mental ill-health in the community. Come together on the darkest night of the year to share stories, to support each other, and to remember those lost. In 2021, the Winter Solstice will be hosted live and streamed online for those who cannot physically attend. This is a free event for all. They’ll be hosting guest speakers Georgie Dent, Kerry O’Brien and Linda Burney, alongside their ever-wonderful MC, David Astle. Join them for a night of reflection, remembrance and connection. In the words of Samuel Johnson, who spoke at the 2018 Solstice, ‘This event is an example, a template if you like, of how to handle this issue.
