About

Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) presents the creatures in Bethany Thornber's exhibition parks and wreck to create your own stuffed animal! Bethany will guide participants through construction (simple stitching and fabric gluing) and decoration techniques to create a unique, colourful three-dimensional animal 'softie' to take home. All materials including fabric, thread, paint, googly eyes will be provided. Please bring your own: stuffing material of your choice, preferably something recycled - any unwanted t-shirts/rags/fabric will do! Murray Art Museum Albury has five to seven exhibitions on at any given time. A visit to the museum includes a visit to MAMA Store, featuring independent Australian designers and makers from the Murray region. Canvas Eatery is located on the ground floor of the museum, and takes in the sunny aspect of the QEII Square gardens. MAMA is open seven days a week, and entry to the museum is always free.
