Eastern European, Afro-Cuban and Arabic musical traditions converge into a modern day celebration of jazz-driven global grooves. Arabesk will lift your spirits with a touch of tango, reggae rhythms, jazz flavoured funky beats and even a traditional waltz! Their 2016 album Mr Fi was recorded in Bathurst and tracks from that work have gone on to win both local and international awards. In recent years Arabesk have performed at major Australian music festivals including Wangaratta Jazz, Hobart's Clarence Jazz Festival, Palm Creek Folk Festival, Manly International Jazz Festival and Parramasala. With a growing following in Japan, they performed at the 2018 Takatsuki Jazz Street, having previously performed at the festival in 2011 and 2015 and at the 2016 Sumida Street Jazz Festival in Tokyo.
