Discover the stories of the people, places, objects, and buildings that shaped the Bathurst region. Bathurst Heritage Week 2022 runs from 30 April – 8 May.
Heritage Week is the culmination of the Autumn Colours Heritage program and leads up to the annual ‘Proclamation Day’ celebrating the founding of Bathurst in 1815. There is a packed program of events for residents and visitors alike to explore the history and heritage throughout Bathurst. It’s a chance to understand the stories behind how the town came to be the modern, thriving regional centre of today.
