Programme: Fratres Felix Mendelssohn - String Quartet No. 2, Op. 13 Lyle Chan - String Quartet (World Premiere) Arvo Part - Fratres Airat Ichmouratov - String Quartet No. 4, Op. 35 Time and Fate Mendelssohn wrote his String Quartet No. 2, Op. 13 in 1827, deeply inspired by Beethoven’s last quartets, composed shortly before, quoting one of his early songs ‘Frage’ Op. 9. Lyle Chan’s new work will be the continuation of Acacia’s close relationship with the Australian composer. Entry Cost All tickets $25
