Eat Merimbula is a premium foodie providore event held on the foreshore of Fishpen Merimbula, overlooking pristine waters and working oyster leases.
The event features local chefs and restaurateurs gathering in a market style setting to create bespoke dishes featuring local produce. The dishes are presented in entrée sizes and prices are capped per dish.
In 2019 the menu included tempters like steamed pork boa buns, Eden Mussel pies, slow cooked beef brisket, rock oysters harvested from only metres away, local craft beer and wines, 12 hour fermented artisan donuts and much much more.
The event will enter its eighth year in 2020, with growing demand from visitors seeing more and more vendors participating each year.
The event is free to enter and runs from 10am- 2pm. In 2020 the event will be held on Sunday 8 March.
