About

Join for morning tea and a spectacular tour of winter gardens and trees laid bare; a rare opportunity to learn from Everglades’ Horticulturists ahead of World Environment Day 2022. Celebrate World Environment Day with a tour of Everglades focusing on our magnificent tree collection with Head Gardener, Simon Cooper and assistant horticulturist Serge Dos Santos. In winter the bones of these spectacular gardens are laid bare as miles of stone walls and winding paths are bathed in the sunlight shining through exposed tree branches. It’s the perfect time of year to see the structure of their trees and gain a clearer picture of how you can best shape and maintain a tree throughout the seasons ahead. Learn how to select the right trees for your own property and how to give them the best start in your garden, with tips on composting and planting out. Discover what they know about how their collection was originally planted by Australia’s Master Landscape Gardener – Paul Sorensen. After the tour, enjoy a delicious morning tea of croissants, fresh fruit or Everglades scones with lashings of fresh cream and jam. Entry Cost Adult $65 Member $55 Concession $60 Child $0 - Children under 5 free
