Join Charmian & Friends in celebrating cellist Georg Pedersen’s 75th Birthday, and his official retirement after 30 years of teaching at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The program will include Schubert’s famous Arpeggione Sonata for cello and piano. After interval Charmian Gadd Tony Gault, Phillip Shovk and Georg Pedersen will perform Brahms’ stunning masterpiece, the C minor Piano Quartet. “Georg is an energetic and enthusiastic person with passionate views. He has created generations of fine cellists and will continue teaching and playing into his so-called retirement” – Charmian Gadd. Georg Pedersen’s students Emma Li and Heesoo Kim will perform as special guests. Entry Cost All tickets $50 - This is a fundraising event for the Central Coast Conservatorium Strings Scholarship Program.
