Lino Carving Workshop

Come and along and try your hand at Lino-carving in the creative hub! A linocut is a type of relief, or block print, and bears a lot of similarities to woodblock printing. Essentially, the artist carves an image into a linoleum (lino) block and what's left of the block is inked and printed. What’s included : Ever wanted to try your hand at Lino carving and printing? Well we have the class for you! Using Ezy carve products,we will explore the process of creating unique designs,transferring them to the lino,carving with specialty tools and safety guards. Once complete we will explore printing on mixed media to create one of a kind artworks. Suitable for beginners or those wanting to refresh skills. Complimentary refreshments included.
