Exquisite and challenging, Swan Lake is the epitome of ballet for aspiring dancers. In Presenting Act II of this traditional ballet – and the big dancey waltz from Act One - CDC showcases a strong company of young dancers from across the region. They perform alongside stunning guest artists, Rebekah Petty and William Douglas from Victorian State Ballet in the principal roles of Odette and Prince Siegfried. The rich musical thread highlighting this season’s 30th anniversary programme includes the delightfully romantic and evocative Degas Minatures and the brilliantly beautiful Spartacus Grand Pas from the special Guest Artists, making a memorable dance event and a feast for ballet lovers. The Central Coast’s own semi-professional dance company truly presents a diverse programme of exciting new and inspiring entertainment by a select group of young dancers on the verge of professional careers.
