A celebration of Aboriginal arts and culture from the Mid North Coast: the Worimi, Biripi, Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr nations that make up the Saltwater Freshwater region. The exhibition includes the Saltwater Freshwater Arts Alliance Aboriginal art award and a display of contemporary cultural objects, plus extensive public programs such as storytelling, weaving and language workshops.

The guest curator and judge of this year’s award is Amanda Hayman of BlakLash Projects, a creative agency that specialises in cultural events and exhibitions that showcase Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, stories and culture.

The Art Award winner will be announced on the opening night at the Glasshouse, Friday 24 May 2019

24 May 2019 to 7 July 2019, Glasshouse Regional Gallery, Port Macquarie

19 July 2019 to 14 September 2019 Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery,

23 October 2019 to 1 December 2019 Manning Regional Art Gallery, Taree

14 December 2019 to 9 February 2020 Wadjar Regional Indigenous Gallery, Corindi Beach
