Lake Burrendong Fishing Classic

The not for profit Lake Burrendong Fishing Classic attracts thousands of anglers annually, who turn up in droves for a chance to share in a community driven prize pool worth thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. This is strictly a 'catch and release' fishing competition with all native fish being released back into the dam. All funds raised through the Fishing Competition go back into waterway initiatives including fishing education, habitat restoration and restocking. More information can be found on the website.
