South West Music Livestream Youth Concert - The Tinderboxers

South West Music is thrilled to bring you, live via Zoom, four piece indie rock band from Tassie, The Tinderboxers. Formed in high school, the band have already scored a string of high profile support slots; sharing stages with the likes of Ruby Fields, Luca Brasi, Lime Cordiale and Slowly Slowly. Their jangly guitar pop, synth laden choruses, precise string arrangements and emotive harmonies won them the Triple J Unearthed Party in the Paddock competition earlier this year. The band’s music draws on the observations and personal experiences of front man Alex Buktenica, offering a unique chronicle of 21st century Australian youth, and exploring classic themes of late adolescence such as hopeless romanticism, feelings of isolation, poignant reflections on ageing and the importance of home.
