Adopt a Truffle Tree: experience a day in the life of a truffle farmer

Provided by:

Event runs from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM
Every 3 days, until 4/10/2022

Adopt your truffle tree, experience a day in the life of a truffle farmer, wine and dine, and keep in touch with your tree pals through the year. Then, receive the first truffle from the tree next season. During spring, visit their beautiful property, nestled among pristine rainforest gullies on the slopes of Gulaga Mountain, with its rich volcanic soil, and experience a day in the life of a truffle farmer. Spend two hours among our 260 oak and hazelnut trees, learning how to care for them. As you work on the trees, enjoy an elegant glass of sparkling pinot. With an appetite from all this activity, lunch will be a degustation of truffle inspired dishes served just up the mountain in the off-grid, rammed earth home. Enjoy spectacular views, listen to the lyrebirds, relax. When you leave them, they will stay in contact. They will send you photos of your adopted trees each season, letting you know how they are getting on. Penpals are lovely but Treepals are even better! To complete your truffiere experience, when the next truffle season begins, they will freight to you the first truffle that your tree family produces - anything from a delicious 30g truffle right through to a 500g whopper. Spring in the Truffiere is truly the gift that keeps on giving. Entry Cost All tickets $300 - Additional $100 for each additional person
