The second Jetblack Wild Wombat event was originally scheduled for late November 2019 and was postponed to August 2020, because of insufficient event registrations. The decision was made with the full support by Eurobodalla Shire Council and Destination NSW. The few participants who had entered received a full refund.
To showcase all the assets of the beautiful Eurobodalla region the 2019 race was going to offer an event centre on the beach, a neutral ride to the Mogo Dam Loop and a 6.5 kilometre timed race stage that participants were meant to do as many times as they wanted - at their own time and with a flexible timing system that allowed riders of various categories and ages to race together.
The Jetblack Wild Wombat will return to the Eurobodalla in 2020 with a different event format on the mountain biking and adventure trails in and around Mogo and Batemans Bay.
