Stars of Young- Cancer Council Fundraiser

The Stars of Young is a Cancer Council fundraising dinner featuring a performance from well know local celebrities. The event will be held at the Young Services Club on 14 June at 6pm. This is an exciting new fundraiser introduced in 2018 that is being run in place of the Relay for Life. Funds raised from the event will go to support those in the Young community with cancer through support, prevention, research and advocacy. They are 97 percent community funded, so they rely on these incredible community events. Stars of Young is a fundraising event where high-profile locals (and realistically, amateur dancers) are teamed up with professional dance partners or troupe to rehearse a routine that will be performed in front of guests and judges at a glitzy and glam gala ball evening! The event promises to be a gala night of first class local entertainment.
