Wired Open Labs: Taxidermy for Beginners

Now in its third year, the 2019 Wired Open Labs workshop series continues to engage outstanding Australian artists and artisans who provide unique experiences to suit every creative appetite. Offered throughout the Eastern Riverina and South West Slopes these workshops cater to beginners through to experienced artists. Bookings are essential with places filling fast. Rest in Pieces is hitting the road once again and coming to Jugiong! You are invited to attend your very own Taxidermy Workshop. The course will take you on a journey and will help you to discover some of the processes involved in creating taxidermy. Throughout the day you will learn how to skin and preserve your little rat, as well as how to mount him into a beautiful standing and very greedy cheese fiend. Everything will be supplied on the day including the rat, tools, aprons, snacks, lunch, great company and even a glass of celebratory bubbles. No previous taxidermy experience is necessary.
