About

Tour postponed until April 2021. Aptly labelled the world’s most influential living philosopher, Peter is the most widely read contemporary philosopher in existence. His work, covering a variety of topics, focuses on what it means to live an ethical life. Peter has shaped his career around the idea of reducing suffering and maximising happiness. This served as the basis for his book The Life You Can Save, which inspired the Effective Altruism movement. All net proceeds from event will be donated to non-profit of the same name, The Life You Can Save, to aid people in extreme poverty in low-income countries. Each attendee will also receive a free copy of the book. Throughout his career, Peter has written a number of works that have helped shape modern attitudes and ethics, perhaps most notably is 1975’s Animal Liberation, which served as the foundation for the animal rights movement. Come & learn how to apply ethics to your everyday life, make the greatest impact you can on society and gain insight into the mind of the world’s most influential philosopher. This event will consist of an hour-long conversation between Peter and the event host followed by a Q&A session.
