In the 1960s, longboarders surfing north along the coast found the home of one of the longest and most classic point breaks in the world. National parks, nature reserves and the Pacific Ocean border Crescent Head, and its cobblestone point is famous. Event organisers respectfully acknowledge the Dunghutti People as the traditional custodians of the Crescent Head region and welcome them, competitors, families, friends, kids, locals, mates, media, spectators and visitors to the annual Crescent Head Malibu Classic.
