Marian Street Theatre for Young People (MSTYP) is one of the oldest continually-running children's theatre and drama schools in Australia. They are a not-for-profit organisation creating quality theatre productions and drama classes for young people from three to eighteen years old.
Based in northern Sydney, Marian Street Theatre for Young People (MSTYP) are now also offering interactive online classes, so you can join them from anywhere in Australia!
Their classes build skills in voice, movement, improvisation, script work, characterisation and much more. They run a range of weekly classes during term time, holiday workshops to keep creative juices flowing, and one-on-one tutorials with teaching artists.
Their teaching artists are qualified industry professionals and experienced teachers.
Their graduates can be found throughout theatre companies and creative industries in Australia and internationally. They include Jordan Hare (actress in television and film, including The Secret Daughter), Ava Madon (High 5 and The Pack down on ABC ME), Ayesha Madon (Fangirls - ATYP and Belvoir), Claire Nasher (poet), Linden Wilkinson (performer and playwright), Jim Southwell (performer and writer), Keith Agius (Bell Shakespeare, Sport for Jove), Terry Ryan (actor, puppeteer, writer), Kylie Harris (creator of Midnight Feast), and many more!
Student $110 - Prices depend on the length and type of class. NSW students can use their Creative Kids Vouchers to get AUD100 off the price of their course.
