About the Event
About
The centenary survey is a celebration of Guy Warren’s artistic vitality and rigour over what could arguably be the longest painterly career in Australia, as well as to honour his close relationship to Lane Cove and the Centrehouse Inc. local arts organisation.
To be opened by Mayor of Lane Cove, Clr Pam Palmer.
Guest Speaker: John McDonald, Art Critic, Sydney Morning Herald.
Of Man and Nature captures his spirit of stylistic experimentation which sets him apart from his peers. While it traces varieties of mark-making through the decades, the recurring theme of man’s place in the natural environment and related motifs persist - and provide a unifying narrative.
Please note, bookings are essential.
