Lismore Samson Fitness Challenge

The Lismore Samson Fitness Challenge is an annual event that raises money for 'Our Kids'. The Fitness Challenge's goal is to continue running this exciting event that promotes Lismore as a driving force behind fitness and exercise and raise vital funds to help keep children local when needing medical care via the 'Our Kids' Charity. 'Our Kids' has raised funds to purchase pediatric equipment at Lismore Base Hospital and the surrounding hospitals in the Northern Rivers. Held the first weekend in March each year the Samson Challenge is a four-person team event with each team put through gruelling challenges, which includes a farmers walk with jerry cans, a prowler push, 130kg truck tyre flip, burpee challenge, 2x2km run, 1km swim, the sled plug, and a crazy obstacle course to complete. The quickest team to complete all the challenges wins the coveted Samson Title and bragging rights for the next twelve months. 2023 will be the 12th Samson Challenge and there are events for everyone including: Lismore Samson Team Event Samson Solo Samson Teen Sprint Samson Kids Entry Cost Adult $50 - Early Bird AUD320 per team closes 26 January Normal AUD380 per team closes 14 February a Junior Team AUD320 per team closes 14 February Late Registration AUD440 per team is from 15 February - 20 February Solo Registration is AUD50, closes 1 March at Midnight
