Kylies Beach, Crowdy Bay National Park
About
The local branch of the National Parks Association has been regenerating parts of Crowdy Bay National Park, south of Laurieton for the past 42 years. From 17-23 May we are running a clean up of areas where the 2019 bushfire has resulted in serious infestations of lantana, bitou bush and tobacco bush, with a camp based at beautiful Kylies Beach. Genuine volunteers can join our camp for all or part of the week, or even just come for a day. Our beautiful coastal park really needs our help. We have use of a trailer equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking gear, hot water urn etc and we have a communal area with tables and chairs under a tarpaulin. This makes camping easier. There will be a campfire each night. Dinner will be provided on the Saturday night.
