Professionals Weekend of Surf

The Professionals Weekend of Surf is bringing lifesavers to Main Beach Forster on the long weekend in October for the 25th year. Last year we had 394 competing in the Ironman events on the Saturday and with beach events commencing at midday and more water events on the Sunday all up 630 competitors taking part. On Sunday their program continues with the iconic March Past event and then runs into all the usual water events – swim, board, ski and taplin relay in age categories from under nine to Masters in the over 50 age group and then onto the three person board relay which has grown in popularity over the last few years. They attract competitors from Surf Lifesaving Clubs in NSW and some travelling from Victoria and Queensland
