Rhythm Hunters have held eight concerts in the arch, and the event has seen 4000+ people to witness Frenetic Shamanic Dance, Japanese Shakuhachi Flute Master Riley Lee, thunderous Japanese drums, traditional music from Indonesia, electronic beats, drum and didge with Wild Marmalade and of course the enigmatic percussion master Nicky Bomba. It‘s like an organic dance party in the largest underground caves systems in the world. Rhythm Hunters are a dynamite force combining music from Indonesia, Japan, West Africa and Australia. Cutting edge physical drumming, subtle electronics, western horns, Asian flute, tuned bells, synth effects, deep grooves and ethereal soundscapes combine, making them one of Australia’s most exciting music groups. The ‘Wow’ factor comes from the dramatic physical movement spectacle originally influenced by Taiko drumming.
