The Orange Wild Weekend is a brand-new food, wine and bushwalking experience meticulously designed with nature in mind.
Hosted by Ali Shillington, The Orange Wild Weekend features the region’s talented producers, foragers, conservationists and chefs inspired by Ghannabulla / Mount Canobolas. Guests will explore the unique sub-alpine surrounds of Orange, New South Wales, Australia high in the clouds of the extinct volcano Ghannabulla/Mount Canobolas across three days during FOOD week, from Friday 16th April to Sunday 18th April inclusive.
Guest activities include:
Spotting native flora and wildlife on the mountain on a bushwalk with local botanist, Colin Bower
Exclusive high-altitude wine tasting at Strawhouse Wines
Meeting Chef Tony Worland at famed local restaurant Tonic in Millthorpe. Tony will be cooking up a storm with local produce on arrival.
Learn how to forage for edible mushrooms with a local expert, Robbie, followed by dinner with Charles Woodward at Sister's Rock restaurant at Borrodell vineyard and much more!
