The ninth annual Berry Small Farm Field Days will be held at the Berry Showground. It gets bigger every year with exhibitors to interest both small landholders and backyard gardeners alike.
Paul Andersen, member of the Rotary Club of Berry and Exhibit Organiser, said last year the exhibitors were approximately 30% up and the Berry Showground was full. “We have grown each year we have held the Field Days and this year is certainly the largest with over 120 exhibitors,” he said. “We also have a number of interstate exhibitors coming from both Victoria and Queensland. There will be something there for everyone.”
“The Millpaca Livestock Pavilion has a huge variety of farm animals on display, and is sure to be a big hit with the kids, as will the Heavy Horses and Brahman Bulls.” Paul added.
There are a number of interesting talks and demonstrations and the garden section is always a highlight being creatively designed, and set up like a garden fair featuring a variety of stalls where you can wander through and view all sorts of items for your garden.
