From the sea to the stage - traditional and contemporary music from a truly impressive troupe. Under the baton of Lieutenant David Coit, the Royal Australian Navy Band Sydney will feature their 40-piece Military Ensemble and talented vocalists. The performance will include works from both Australian and world composers with a variety of band music, vocals and popular works. The history of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Band is rich and long-lasting, carrying strong tradition for over 100 years. The organisation continues to play an invaluable role in keeping the Navy’s image in the public consciousness ashore and at sea, maintaining one of the Australian Defence Force’s most consistent and significant public engagement profiles.
