The Subterraneans are incredibly thrilled to be launching their brand new studio album “Constant Change” at Mary’s Underground! Hearing The Subterraneans for the first time will be a hallelujah moment. Finally there is a band combining rock’s visceral energy with jazz’s lithe spontaneity, without compromise. This critically lauded and highly popular band has been performing its original brand or Funk, World Groove, Reggae infused rock jazz for over a decade. The Subterraneans are an all-star high energy band that’ll get you on your feet, quick smart! James Ryan – Saxophone, Flute Steve Hunter - Electric Bass Michael Coggins - Guitar Aykho Akriff - Percussion Giorgio Rojas - Drums Scoredatura Have you heard Meshuggah? Animals as Leaders? It's kinda like that but way worse. Have you heard any jazz? It's kinda like that but way better. Because let's face it, jazz sucks. And metal is awesome. That's why these nerdy little jazz musicians are going to play some metal music. Don't get your hopes up, they're not very good at it, but they try hard, their wives and girlfriends say they're good. The bass player now has long hair, so that's something. Tim Firth - Drums Jake Howsam Lowe - Guitar Peter Koopman - Guitar Tom Botting - Bass Entry Cost Adult $25
