Paddington in Pictures Exhibition

A new exhibition of contemporary street photography is set to offer a fresh look at modern life in one of Sydney’s oldest suburbs. Paddington In Pictures will launch at Paddington Library on Oxford St on June 16, featuring high-end photography from leading local photographers including Pip Farquharson, Laura Reid and Jonathan Camí. The single-print photographs will be on sale for two days, over June 16-17, from as little as $195 each. They will then hang at the library until July. The images of life in the picturesque inner-city suburb promise an intriguing glimpse into a neighbourhood that was established in the 1820s and has become one of Australia’s most vibrant and cherished historic areas. A morning tea and discussion will take place at the library at 11am on June 16 with curator Elizabeth Meryment. This is a free event.
