They will serve a selection of dishes inspired by Sophie’s third cookbook In good company with a glass of bubbly, red or white wine, coffee or tea. This is a unique opportunity for food lovers to hear stories, ask questions and mingle with like-minded locals and special guest all the way from her family deer farm near Orange, NSW. Sophie will have copies of her book to sign and sell on the day, and we know you will go home with memories of an inspiring afternoon out and an abundance of ideas for your next gathering. Sophie Hansen is a mum, author, farmer, photographer and journalist who also teaches social media marketing via My Open Kitchen. Her first book, A Basket By The Door, built on the success of Local is Lovely online, a wonderful community of home cooks, brimming with friendship and kindness. Sophie was awarded Australian Rural Woman of the Year 2016. Annabelle Hickson is best known as a local Tenterfield legend, mum of 3, pecan farmer, photographer, journalist and founder/editor of GALAH.
