About the Event
About
Crookwell, a town in the Upper Lachlan Shire, is known for its fine wool, potato production, Irish heritage and community spirit – these qualities are celebrated in the Crookwell Country and Potato Festival, held in March.
Past years have seen a potato auction for charity, celebrity chef appearances, farm tours and a popular demonstration kitchen where you can learn to make dishes such as potato pies, tattie scones, curries and chowder. In 2023, there will be a renewed focus on country heritage and culture.
