Regarded as amongst Australia’s most exciting performers and curators, Sonya Lifschitz brings her miraculous virtuosity to myriad cross-disciplinary projects around the world. In this extraordinary tapestry of a solo recital, Sonya has assembled a selection of some of her favourite music, spanning four centuries: Bach’s peerless Chaconne arranged for piano by Johannes Brahms, Janácek’s intensely moving Piano Sonata, and George Crumb’s brilliantly picturesque A Little Suite for Christmas.
