Thirlmere Festival of Steam

The March 2020 Thirlmere Festival of Steam event has been postponed and a new date will be advised shortly. NSW Rail Museum joins the local community in celebrating the beginning of steam season! Bring your family and friends to explore, as the tiny town of Thirlmere turns into a bustling hub of activity with rides, craft, stalls, all day music and entertainment in the park, and a street parade! Purchase your tickets to NSW Rail Museum to enjoy the largest collection of Rolling Stock in Australia. Have a Steam train trip and adventure through carriages from the past! Tickets for entry into NSW Rail Museum can be purchased from NSW Rail Museum reception on the day. *As a result of the recent bushfires that impacted the Wollondilly community and the subsequent and ongoing response by local community groups, the Thirlmere Festival of Steam has been postponed to a date yet to be determined.*
