About

In its 47th year, Travelling Film Festival is thrilled to be bringing the world’s best cinema to Wollongong from 18 - 20 June, at Greater Union Cinemas. After a break last year, the 2021 program will treat patrons to seven award-winning feature films, two highly anticipated documentaries and a perfectly crafted First Nations short film. Headlining the programme is Molly Reynolds’ (available for interviews) MY NAME IS GULPILIL, a brilliant new Australian documentary that celebrates the personal story and remarkable film career of iconic Australian actor David Gulpilil, beginning with his breakthrough performance in Nicolas Roeg’s Walkabout (1970), and including such classics as Storm Boy (1976, Henri Safran), The Last Wave (1977, Peter Weir), and more recently The Tracker (2002, Rolf de Heer) and Rabbit Proof Fence (2002, Phillip Noyce). TFF Wollongong screens from 18-20 June at Greater Union Cinemas. Tickets are now on sale. Patrons can watch as many films as they want and save up to 30 per cent with a Full Subscription or a 5-film pass. For more information, full program and bookings please visit the website.
