Writing For Young People Online Feedback Intensive - with Sandy Fussell

Writing for Young People is a feedback course for fiction manuscripts written for children aged 8 to 12 years, often called middle grade or younger readers. This course does not cover picture books or YA fiction. Children’s author Sandy Fussell will provide feedback on your writing in an online classroom environment. You will: Submit extracts of your manuscript once a month for three months and receive feedback from two of your classmates and your tutor. Complete peer feedback for two people automatically allocated to you. Giving feedback is an excellent way to improve your own writing by thinking about what works in peer works-in-progress. This course will be run on WetInk, and easy to follow instructions on how to do this will be provided to participants. The website is accessible to class members only. Submissions and tutor and peer feedback are visible to all participants, just as they would be in an in-person class or writer's group.
