About
Art2Muse Gallery presents Shorelines by Kate Gorman.
“Shorelines explores that unique ‘place’ where land meets water. A shoreline could represent the edge of an ocean, river, lake, creek or dam, with each evoking a dramatic atmosphere for the viewer to contemplate.
"I am fascinated by the ever-changing surfaces surrounding these shorelines: from natural objects of sand, rocks and foliage, to structures of bridges, jetties and buildings.
"The array of trees that can be found hugging the shorelines is a major focal point of my current work, and in particular Pines and Palms.” - Kate Gorman, 2021
