Artist Tour: Holly Anderson and Laura Patterson

Have you ever wondered how an artist can capture a tree, a mountain or a body of water and bring it to life? Join Museum of Brisbane's exhibiting artists Holly Anderson and Laura Patterson for an artist-led tour of 'City in the Sun', and dive into their approach to contemporary landscape painting. Discover how Holly captures a shimmer of light that dances across the surface of a pool, and learn how Laura’s verdant compositions create a rich, subtropical Eden. These artists both have an unconventional yet refined approach to interpreting the environment around them by evoking physical sensations and emotions. Fully facilitated by a MoB Curator, this 90-minute event will include a tour, Q&A and light morning tea with the artists. Guests are encouraged to arrive from 10:00am for a prompt 10:30am start.
