Ballet International Gala

This is BIG! Experience the world premiere of the Ballet International Gala (BIG), exclusively in Queensland. In an Australian first, BIG will feature principal dancers from The Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Astana Opera, Queensland Ballet as well as Queensland-born alumni of The Paris Opera Ballet and Stuttgart Ballet. BIG will play host to these international heavyweights as they perform a carefully curated selection of pas de deux from some of the world’s most iconic ballets including Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Les Corsaire, Spartacus and more, collaborating with one of Queensland’s most promising musical acts for a stunning grand finale. BIG opens at QPAC’s Playhouse Theatre on Wednesday, 26th January 2022, and will run for a strictly limited series of seven (7) performances until Sunday, 30th of January 2022.
