Held annually on the last weekend in July, the Childers Festival closes the Bruce Highway and the historic streets of this quintessential Queensland country town are lined with food and market stalls set to a back-drop of live music and entertainment across numerous stages. Sunday's main Festival Day is free to attend; and there's a host of activities leading up to the festival - more information available once details are locked in. The Childers Festival is a Bundaberg Regional Council Event.
