UMI Arts proudly presents the very first solo exhibition of talented Kokoberrin elder artist, Dorothy Edwards. 'Homelands' will showcase prints and paintings completed by Edwards during UMI Arts' Exhibition-Ready Program of 2021. Edwards explores the memories and stories of her childhood growing up on country. “Making artworks connects me with my ancestors and culture. I can remember being on Country collecting bush foods and weaving with my Aunties. Our families still do these things today and it is through art and practicing our skills that things get passed on to the next generation".
