About

The Feast of the Senses is North Queensland's premier tropical food event. Showcasing the amazing variety of exotic tropical fruits, produce, seafood, and meats are like no other festival in Australia and is truly a feast for all of your senses! Tropical produce is the hero of the festival, and over the four-day program, visitors will be able to see, touch, taste, and smell the excellent fruit and food that comes from this vibrant region. The program annually incorporates food events, farm trails, cooking competitions and culminates in a huge market day showcasing all the local produce. Market Day is held along the banks of the Johnstone River, showcasing Innisfail's natural beauty and allowing attendees to view one of the best collections of art deco architecture in Australia and surrounded by rivers, reefs and rainforests. The Feast of the Senses holds the Guinness World Record for the World's Longest Banana Split recorded at 8040 metres. This region knows a thing or two about bananas.
