Our team consist of 2 doctors, scientist, physiotherapist, health worker and myself. We require 4 – 5 rooms if possible.

For Mornington Island and Doomadgee only 1 doctor will attend and thus only needing 3 – 4 rooms.

About

We aim to raise awareness of respiratory diseases through community engagement, lung health promotion, education, partnerships with local health providers, training and research. We provide a culturally safe specialist respiratory outreach service which includes:

  • lung health checks
  • point-of-care chronic lung disease management
  • treatment
  • referrals to other health providers
  • education.

The IROC team is made up of respiratory physicians, respiratory nurses, respiratory scientists and Indigenous Project Officers from across the state.
