About

Run by the Douglas Hockey Association and Beach Hockey Australia, this round robin beach hockey tournament for juniors and adults is now a regular event in the local calendar. The Sandy Sticks tournament, the only one like it in Australia, is played on two giant inflatable beach hockey pitches. Junior and adult matches run from 9am-4pm with presentations and awards following the finals. Junior, Senior, Mixed and Celebrity teams can register, each with 5 players a side (8 per squad) playing a round robin style tournament.
