No matter what styles of music you like, there is a chance that you will get to see it all at Passport to Airlie Mackay. Mackay has an amazing range of gifted musicians that create original music. Passport To Airlie gives these artists the chance to be part of the Airlie Beach Festival of Music this year and the chance to be the one artist that makes it through to the main stage the following year. You can come and see the cream of local original music all in one great location over three days! This year the events will be held at one of Mackay's premier music venues, Harrup Park in their beautifully appointed beer garden that sets just the right chill vibe for an afternoon of fresh tunes. Passport to Airlie is Australia’s largest live, original music initiative. Events are held in regional areas around Australia, allowing for a broad range of genres, participants and audiences. It allows for local venues to support live and original music in their community. Passport to Airlie (P2A) has been running as an integral part of the Airlie Beach Festival of Music since 2013. Each year over 300 acts participate in the events right across Australia. Passport to Airlie in 2021 will have 7 locations: Cairns, Mackay, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne and Darwin.
