Discover pickling basics at this demonstrative pickling class with Valerie Pearson from Green Living Australia. During this engaging presentation, you'll get a detailed overview of traditional pickling aka lacto- fermentation! Lacto - fermentation is the process that produces traditional dill pickles, kimchi and real sauerkraut, among other fermented delights. Learn the basics of how to ferment foods and how important they are in achieving a healthy diet and a strong immune system. Please keep in mind this is a demonstration based session. Students will not be pickling during this session, but you'll be given all the knowledge, and access to equipment to start pickling at home. Pickling and fermentation products and kits will also be available for purchase during the workshop. Entry Cost All tickets $65
