About

A concert of French Classical composers performed by local musicians. Immerse yourself in music that is simply divine as Le Grande Ensemble perform in the beautiful heritage Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Auburn. Coordinated by Elder Conservatorium trained local musician Leonie Moore, Le Grande Ensemble consists of members of the woodwind section of the Nurioopta Town Band, joined by musicians from Balaklava and further afield, performing works by Debussy, Ravel, Faure, Bizet and Gounod. The concert will feature local woodwind players, solo piano and harp, as well as a small family string ensemble, playing well-known and loved items by Classical French composers. Entry Cost All tickets $15 - Children 12 and under at the time of the event may purchase a child ticket. Children 2 and under, sitting on the knee of a parent/guardian do not require a ticket.
